In April 2022 I went for a mammogram and breast ultrasound. Most people that I encountered that have had a mammogram have always said it was painful and they did not have a good experience. So, I already processed this and knew it was going to be terrifying, but it wasn’t. The Radiographer was so gentle and explained everything she was doing. The process overall was not painful and all results were good. I’ve got healthy boobies.  My personal experience at ERAD has always been good. Whether it was an MRI, sonar or x-ray done for me or my daughter, the people have always been friendly and welcoming. 

My experience with ERAD was good. The staff is very friendly and professional. They have made both me and my daughter comfortable through the process. 

I was 36 weeks pregnant when I noticed my baby wasn’t moving as much as he used to. My Obstetrician and Gynecologist immediately referred me to ERAD for an ultrasound. Dr Kabongo did my sonar and was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly made a finding and went above and beyond to answer all the questions I had. This calmed me and ensured I wasn’t a hot mess by the time my baby was prematurely delivered that same day. Instead, I knew I was in capable hands, and all that I needed to do was to soak in every moment of my baby’s birth—and for that, I’ll forever be grateful

Me, my children and my husband have been to ERAD and it has always been a positive experience. Recently I was an in-patient and had scans to do. I was met by Melissa who is a SUPER cheerful character. She answered every one of my questions while we waited for Dr Madisha. She made me so comfortable in a moment that I felt extremely anxious. She went as far as to check my blankets, the room temperature, my pillows, everything. She was extremely professional and sweet. 

My brother had Brain CT Scan in February 2021 at ERAD. Dr Kabongo reported it and found severe life-threatening bleeding in the ventricles of his brain. He immediately contacted the Neurosurgeon for his opinion. Arrangements were made within a few hours and my brother had emergency surgery where boreholes were drilled in his skull to drain blood and relief pressure. Thanks to accurate diagnosis and a quick intervention from Dr Kabongo, my brother survived and is still alive today.
